Mum’s delicious home made Christmas cake with a side order of knitting was the perfect way to begin Christmas Day….
Oh, did I mention the sunshine? We had the most perfectly delicious weather we’ve had in weeks…. hot sun and non-existent wind…. so perfect in fact that my Dad spent the day fishing (or as I say, he went to rape and pillage the ocean) and we spent the day in the sunshine… some of us knitting (me) some of us drinking (pretty much everyone except me) and having a great time together.
Have any of you ever seen a festively decorated sheep?
Meet Mrs Meullo, my zany Aunty’s sheep…..
Apparently Mrs Meullo has turned a bit nasty on my Aunty lately, so this photo was taken with caution!
I hope you all had, or if you haven’t reached it yet, HAVE a wonderful Christmas! I hope that the weather was beautiful for you, whether it was beautiful snow, or perfection in sunshine….
I’ll be back in a couple of days, hopefully with an FO (Finished Object, for the lovely lady who needed clarification on that term!) or something crafty to show you…. it’s holiday time for me and I’m thrilled……
Lots and lots of love to you all,
From Alice, Stanley and Tallula! XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Hi Alice .. lovely photo of you and the doggies. Is one of them a Tibetan Spaniel ? We’ve had a lovely Christmas day here in Aus – I’m just about ready to fall into bed and its only 6.45 !! Have a great holiday and I’ll look forward to seeing your next FO when you get back.
Just about to start Christmas Day here and it’s very frosty here in the south west of the UK – apparently -4 degrees. A bit of warm sunshine would be great can you send us some of yours?! Looking forward to seeing the FO and more of your sunshine photos. Enjoy what is left of your Christmas Day.
